Howdy! I'm Greg! I am a full stack Software Engineer with 4 years of experience, specializing in web development. Experienced with NodeJS, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Angular, React, Azure and AWS. I have previously been a Project Manager, a Full Stack Engineer, and a Back End Engineer!

My passion is in learning as much about technology as I can. I'm searching for a software engineering position where I can expand my skillset, and grow into positions of leadership.

Electronic Medical Record Web Application

DataIQ

Developed an Electronic Medical Record Application for use at Long Term Care centers and Nursing Homes. Our Tech Stack included NodeJS, ExpressJs, SQL Server, CosmosDB, AWS Cognito, Angular, and JS and TS.

MongoDB to PostgreSQL Application Migration

Xpressdocs

Led the migration of our application database from MongoDB to PostgreSQL which improved our costs by 15%. Techonolgies involved are MongoDB, PostgreSQL, JS, TS, NestJS, and React.

Game Botting Script

In order to test my abilities with Python, I created a game botting application for a mobile game. The bot uses opencv to view the game and make decision. Created a small gui with tkinter for bot control.

DataIQ: Full Stack Software Engineer

MAY 2021 - JUNE 2024 • Fort Worth, TX, USA

Developed an Electronic Medical Record Application for use at Long Term Care centers and Nursing Homes.
Regularly Met with clients to gather requirements, design application systems, and provide demonstrations.
Led a team of developers working on the application through an agile methodology.
Technologies used included NodeJS, ExpressJS, SQL Server, CosmosDB, and AWS Cognito, Angular, with code written in Javascript and Typescript.

Xpressdocs: Back End Software Engineer

MARCH 2020 - MAY 2021 • Fort Worth, TX, USA

Created and maintained customer-facing applications as part of the Marketing Automation Team.
Maintained an application that automates the creation of marketing materials for 1000s of real estate agents.
Application built using a React front end, NestJS backend, database on PostgresSQL. Written in Typescript and Javascript.
Led Migration from MongoDB to PostgreSQL, which improved costs by 15% and sped up our development time.

SPEA: Semiconductor and Board Test Application Engineer

JUNE 2017 - MARCH 2020 • Tyler, TX, USA

Designed electrical test fixtures and developed test programs in C++ for SPEA semiconductor test equipment.
Created python application to parse BOMs, to load into our software, improving our project creation time by 25%.
Improved customer testing efficiency by 50% by upgrading their underlying test programs from VB6 to 2019 VB.NET.
Implemented customers traceability software, including rewrites of underlying systems in VB6, VBA, and C++.
